How to perform Shani Puja

Day: Saturday

Direction: West

Gemstone: Blue Sapphire i.e. Neelam

Flower: Vanni and Kuvalai

Color: Black

Cereal: Uraad Daal Black

Meal: Rice with Uraad Daal

When puja is performed we have to chant Dhyan mantra that time which is 'Nilaanjanaa Samabhasama Ravi Putram Yamagrajama Chaya Mrttanda Sambhutama Tama Namami Shanai Shwarama' and then chant to Shani Gayatri Mantra called 'Aum Sanaischaraya Vidmahe,Sooryaputrayaa Dheemahi,Tanno Manda Prachodayata.'
